Brunei, on the north coast of the island of Borneo, is a small Muslim sultanate. Its capital is Bandar Seri Begawan. The country adjoins Malaysian territory, and is subject to sharia law. It sits on so much gas and oil that the people receive free health insurance, school and university education, Gunther says.
